The “lukewarm” thing hits home. It’s far more dangerous than depressing IMO because it is simply latent depression disguised as nihilism to cope and it’s easy to stay in that state for a long period of time. Been there done that for almost 5 years of my life. Never again.

It’s hard to explain.... it’s basically just a fake neutral state where you never get overly excited or hopeful about anything while ignoring things you know you could fix to make it better. Just sort of an existence to exist.
