There's a piece of me that appreciates we have easier access to information in our pockets, and there's a piece of me that is so happy smart phones and ipads didn't exist when I grew up. Hell we only had 1 computer in my house until I was like 12 and no one could be on the phone if you wanted to use the internet. We spent all our time making up games to play outside

Agreed I mean I was a computer gaming nerd as a kid/teen but I still played sports, went fishing, played outside with other kids. There has to be a balance.
Outside was fun as a kid, but then I got older and found hot weather to be absolutely miserable to be in. Seriously, who the fuck finds 98 degrees weather with a heat index of 110 to be fun?
Last kid I knew that tried to play in that type of weather ended up in the hospital because of a heat stroke.
So many people want you to believe they like it, Lord only knows why. People don't really like it though. If they did they wouldn't put on lighter clothing, drink lemonade, go swimming, turn on the air conditioning. If people really liked it they would put on a coat and be in hog heaven. For whatever reason some people like to brag about loving heat and it makes no sense. Nobody is impressed by their lies lol.
