There's no place for sexuality at all in children's stories unless it's a MILD crush

I hate a shoehorned romance in any piece of media, no matter the context. It always takes away from the greater story and it’s almost always unrealistic and unbelievable. The way they shoehorn romance into action movies comes to mind. The target audience for explosions doesn’t care, we want to see explosions. You don’t have to attempt to cater to a wider demographic who’s not even interested in the first place.

The woke version is even worse, prepare to see it everywhere.

Their argument would be that "romantic preference isn't sexualization, you pervert"

Which might be a stronger argument if there were any other character trait being promoted.
