That's exactly why the corrupt bishops of the Catholic Church blocked his canonization that was scheduled for last year (or this year, I don't remember). They ARE dirty commies sadly.
I would say so. Miracles have been attributed to him, there is no doubt over those. Therefore, he essentially is a saint, and I pray that he intercedes for our lost nation and our lost Church.
I’m a recent convert so maybe you can clarify, a Saint is one who is in heaven, right? And the Church canonizes saints because there is full proof that that person is in heaven? If I’m correct then Bishop Sheen is definitely in heaven and therefore a Saint interceding on our behalf whether or not the hierarchy wants his public veneration approved?
I think that's how it works. Keep in mind I am no expert. When the Church describes the Communion of Saints, it refers to all those souls in Heaven. And the word saint at the end of the day just means holy. So in the case of Fulton Sheen, whose miracles have been attributed and approved by the Church herself, and his canonization is being held up by merely the Church's indignation, then yes he is in Heaven and already saintly.
By the way, that's great to hear you're a convert! I would highly recommend looking up Michael Voris and Church Militant if you have not already. He and his team provide stellar content on the teachings of the faith, as well as a look at current events through the eyes of faithful Catholics.

Well, that doesn’t change whether or not he’s a Saint, just whether the Church is willing to accept it and allow global veneration, am I correct?
