Phone companies are ‘common carriers’ who are supposedly prohibited from censoring or even monitoring speech. Loomer has a case here.

which is exactly why lawsuits are a stupid way of dealing with the problem. but the anti-government sovereign citizen nutjobs can't handle the real solution..

lawsuits take years and massive financial backing and you still don't know the outcome. which is why we need a law against political censorship especially of elected officials and candidates..

noir would be enforced by a federal agency who doesn't need to take 3 months to 2 years in and out of court. They can investigate an issue a ruling in a matter of days if necessary. just like every other Federal agency..

if there is a case of political censorship they don't need to take years and years and years of lawsuits. They can investigate it and rule on it and issue a fine or some other punishmen

the way it's supposed to work. In a fast-moving world you can't rely on 1800s slow-moving solutionss

the saying is modern problems require MODERN solutions. not ancient solutions..

it's time to move forward.

The other side is more than willing to flex the power of government against us. Us refusing to do so against them doesn’t protect us from it, it just makes sure they are the only ones with that power.

don't care. They have billions of dollars they don't care. Even if they lost a lawsuit it wouldn't matter to them. their goal isn't to make money it's to manipulate the election. By the time lost it was settled the election would be over. It would chalk it up to a campaign expense. So they have to make a little pee out that's a small fraction of their profits. Who cares? They managed to rig the election and Republicans rolled over and let them. Because Republicans don't work for the people. They work for corporations. And they don't deserve our vote. magaa deserve our vote. Republicans don't

that's what you get when you appoint a corrupt FCC commissioner purely because he promises to repeal net neutrality. He's going to be a corrupt dude who takes corporation side on everything. hiring someone purely based on their stance for net neutrality probably wasn't the best ideaa

16

NBA champs literally what the founding fathers would have done. They would have nationalized Comcast. No joke. it's what they did to the post officee

14
Minarchist_Manlet 14 points ago +14 / -0

Capitalism is good for society, and is obviously is the only system that can exist without the state dictating something else, but the founding fathers would be rolling in their graves if they saw the amount of corporatism and consolidation in America today.

47
Choppermagic 47 points ago +47 / -0

They did this to a mayoral candidate here who was based. They stopped all her ads on all channels and media and forced her to issue slow lawsuits which was too late for the election.

32
hshdhhd [S] 32 points ago +33 / -1

that is the definition of big-money interfering in politics. That is literally the definition of rigging an election. The fact that it's legal in the fact that Republicans and Libertarians WANT it to be legal is the definition of corruption

anybody who WANTS that to be legal is the absolute dictionary definition of corrupt morally bankrupt and frankly just an overall enemy of America. If you want that to be legal you are the enemy of America you are the enemy of the Constitution and you are everything the founding fathers would have stood against

I want you and anybody else reading to know that. If you were in favor of that kind of thing being legal you are exactly what's wrong with America. You are an enemy of America. A domestic enemy. You are someone the founding fathers would have exiled..

so if you're in favor of that kind of thing being legal I want you to read that I want you to understand that and you better fucking accept that. but the things you believe make you a direct threat to America. You are an enemy of America you stand against everything America was founded on..

even the Communist were moree constitutional and more pro-freedom then you are if you support that kind of thing..

you cannot physically support the legality I'm just kind of election interference manipulation and rigging and also claim that you are not evill

the definition of it..

I shouldn't have to apply to just you. I don't know if you support it. but anybody that does. anybody that supports it is the definition of corrupt and keevil. You're not people that can be reasoned with. You don't reason with evil. You defeat it.

just why it's important for everyone else to realize the true enemy. Senate Democrats. Democrats are corrupt and they are bad but they're not the enemy threat. They can be defeated. The true enemy is the enemy in your own party. The extremists. The anti-government sovereign citizen nutjobs. The ones who sometimes call themselves Libertarians..

are the biggest threat to America. They are the biggest threat to your freedom. not the Democrats. Democrats might want to take away your freedom but they're not a threat if you mobilize against them. The real threat are the ones in your own party fighting against you and trying to take away your freedomm

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO WHEN THE BILL GATES CLASS FINALLY KICKS OFF AND GIVING PLEDGE HAS A COUPLE TRILLION DOLLARS TO FUND PERMANENT ELECTION AND CULTURAL MELINDA MARXIST SOCIAL INTERFERENCE?

do you think you'll ever be able to have a fair vote again ?

do you think these foundations will do a turnabout on their white genocide efforts?

do you think there will be free speech?

try harder ?

1
aaafirefly123 1 point ago +1 / -0

In my opinion the moment big money does something like this the election should immediately be declared illegitimate and a new one should be rescheduled the following year.

27
deleted 27 points ago +27 / -0
16
hshdhhd [S] 16 points ago +16 / -0

how far does it have to go before The anti-government sovereign citizen nutjobs realize that government intervention is the answer? How far? The water company shutting off your water because they don't like your politics? The power company cutting off your electricity in the winter? your bank refusing service? credit card companies cutting you off? How far does it have to go? How much big money interference in our elections is acceptable to support your extremistt anti-government nut jobbery?

how many people have to suffer and how much freedom do you have to lose for this religion of anti-government? And it is a religion. It doesn't make sense. it's not based on factual data or science. it's based on a religious faith. A religious hatred of the government and a religious faith in free market or whatever other bullshit you made up.. you don't have any evidence that your policies would work you don't have any evidence that it's going to work the way you want but you have faith in it. So that's not politics that's a religion..

it's a cult-like religion. libertarianism in sovereign citizen bulshit is not a real thing it's just a religion. And religion has its place. I'm not against religion. but religion and politics are two separate things and the problem is extremist nutjobs that can't tell the difference..

trained from birth by the Koch brothers and reason magazine and other corporate propaganda I hate everything that's good for them and support everything that's bad for themm

perfect zombies orders. religiously voting for their candidate year after year no matter what. Never asking for anything in return. And dutifully repeatingbut they're told even when they don't actually understand itt

and that's how you get a situation like that. but the entire political party being targeted by big money and censorship and losing their rights daily but they don't fight back and they don't do anything about it because they were trained to worship corporations. So one of the corporation oppressing you they're all for it. They consider government intervention to be tyranny but corporate oppression is somehow libertyy

again it doesn't have to make sense. Because it's a religion. like a religion they don't expect to understand it they expect to believe in itt

politics is not a religion. trying to treat it like it is is how you get the situation with these corrupt parties. The situation we're in sometimes the most corrupt party in America being the Democrat Party still somehow is more effective thann the Republican Party

passing a law will actually do shit. You have a defeatist attitude. You don't even want to try. it's not going to be a quick process but it's going to be a process and it's perfectly possible. You passed the laws and that's the first step. And you feel most of the federal agencies with people who support you. stop filling them with your enemies. fire the people in the doj and fill them with Trump supporters. start your way on the courts. replacing judges here and there. In the meantime those laws will be very useful. Even the most corrupt judge can't literally ignore the rule of law. If the law clearly states something they will have to follow it..

how many countless investigations they had over evidence-free conspiracy theories over Russian collusion but actual big tech collusion and there's not a single fucking investigation. entire impeachment over conspiracy theory rumors about Trump and the Ukraine but Joe Biden literally on video committing quid pro quo and not a single investigation? what the fuck is wrong with the Republican Party? I want to know why they deserve our vote? it's a serious question. Why should I even bother driving to the voting booths on Election day and pulling the lever for them

what the fuck is Bill Barr doing? Is his job not to investigate these things? what about the FCC and the FEC? where are they?

the excuse of hate speech? bullshit. I don't care if the candidate is a literal verified member of the Nazi party. They need to allow all of their speech because that's how elections work. their candidacy and election is not for big big tech to decide. It is for the voters to decide. Is for the voters to vote against them or for them. It is not for the big tech ceos to decide

that is the definition of election manipulation and it takes away the rights of the people to elect their own candidates. I don't care if they're actually a. c. It doesn't matter. it's still the people's choice and not the choice of some company like Comcas

4
Toughsky_Shitsky 4 points ago +5 / -1

what the fuck is Bill Barr doing? Is his job not to investigate these things?

In 10-20 years, conservatives will be asking this question .. if conservatives are still allowed to live.

The left is like a mob of children. They push and push and push, looking for limits. If you don't show the left limits early and often then their shit gets worse and worse until you are no longer in charge.

Barr is either incompetent, complicit, or both. It's obvious as fuck.

Did she or her team sent bulk emails from a household Comcast account?

That's a deal breaker with any ISP. Instant ToS breaker.

17
ColoradoTrumper45 17 points ago +17 / -0

If that were the case, it wouldn't be affecting the texts. Those are a completely different system.

Texts are delivered via a side carrier channel integral to the phone service, which makes this a huge violation of the common carrier status.

Not that I expect moral behavior from Comcast, but this is a serious violation of established norms and likely the law as well.

2
Lone_Wolf 2 points ago +2 / -0

If Comcast is blocking her outbound email, shouldn't she be able to get a webhost that provides email and use that to send? I know that's what I have done for literally over a decade with my private domain. Unless they're literally blocking ports 25 and 587, she should be able to send from another provider.

I'm not saying that what Comcast is doing is in anyway right, just that this might be a short-term solution until she can get Comcast to quit screwing with her emails.

2
Smurfection 2 points ago +2 / -0

2
hshdhhd [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

it's not a pet belt pads. it's not about payouts. And that's what the corrupt Libertarians can't understand. They are so corrupt and greedy that they can't understand anything outside of money. it's all about money for the corrupt Libertarians. As long as they get money they're happy. it's not about money. it's about freedom. it's about the freedom of our elections. maybe she could get a payout. but it doesn't matter if they already rigged the election. it's more important for her to be able to run a fair campaign and have a fair shot at getting elected. The money is not the important part and that's the thing that Libertarians aren't capable of understanding because their entire worldview revolves around corruption and greed for the point that anything or any kind of motivator outside of money is a foreign concept to them. They can't understand anybody being motivated by anything other than money..

ironically that means they can't actually understand love. They can't understand love for your country. I love for your country where you would sacrifice for it. They can't understand this because they think everything revolves around money. They can only understand money. When they try to explain why a corporation engages in censorship they can only see it as some kind of monetary value. They can only see it as a business decision to make more money. And that's why it confuses them. Because it doesn't really work to make them more money. They can't understand that a big corporation with billions of dollars could do things simply because it wants to. Because it wants a certain candidate to win and it has nothing to do with money. They can't understand a political candidate wanting the censorship to end more than wanting to win a lawsuit. They can't understand the idea of stopping fake news more than getting money from them. their entire ideology revolves around greed. People aren't 100% motivated by greed. there's a lot more to life than greed.. Libertarians can't understand that. They can't understand the concept of compassion. The concept of Love. Of caring for other people. Of Loving You country. these are foreign concept to them. To them everything revolves around them. If it doesn't benefit them they don't care about it. And when looking at the actions of corporations they apply that same logic..
