The FBI has either lost evidence they used to justify the prosecution or are just refusing to comply with court orders to turn it over. They have also concealed exculpatory evidence. Both of which are grounds for either dismissing the case or declaring a mistrial. With the prosecution wanting to drop the case why would this be continued?
