They might just try to stop a train by standing on the tracks. A single train car weighs 30-80 tons. 1 ton = 2000 lb Just a guess but average weight of protester 166 lbs. This means there are 12 of them for every 1 ton. A totally empty train with 20 cars. 30 x 20 = 600 tons.
