The thinking goes like this.......once a person runs unsuccessfully for Pres and VP, their careers are over, politically. They may go on to do guest spots here and there, but no longer as elected politicians. The Democrats have chosen Joe and Blow to be their lambs to the slaughter. They didn't want to risk the other losers in their party. That tells you everything about how they feel about Trump's chances.
I think this is correct. When the outcome is known, the stronger candidates from the party who knows it will lose usually refuse to run in order to keep their powder dry for the next opportunity and the certain losers step in.
Sometimes the VP candidates (as with Harris probably) think they'll have a chance down the line if they only lose once. For example, Edwards thought he had a chance at a future run in 2008 after being Kerry's VP candidate, even if Kerry lost.
I don't know who those strong candidates even are in today's Dem party but obviously they're not on the ticket.
she was already soundly rejected by democratic voters. Did something change?
Its like they actually let this incoherent dementia patient pick his own running mate LMFAO.
That or they know the fix is in (mail-in voting) so they're betting on winning with their evil dream team
I think they know they can't win. The goal is to destroy the country as fast as possible to make it impossible for Trump to govern.
