So debates are a time to just say whatever needs to be said to make you win. That explains why no politician before Trump has ever followed through on anything they have said.

I love how Democrats rip each other to shreads during debates then pick each other for VP or sec of state etc and act like they've always loved each other. They are ruthless and fake. Trump had some brutal things to say about some republican candidates but he stands by those statements. Even if he becomes on good terms he won't act like he never said it or meant it. He keeps it real!
