I think I figured it out. The Dems know they can't beat GEOTUS in November, so they put together the worst ticket they possibly could, throwing their senile, crazy old old uncl;e Joe under the Trump bus.

The VP choice confirms it, This is LITERALLY the worst ticket the Dems could possible assemble.

A solid theory. Would allow them to say "see? We tried your law-abiding way. We even had a COP VP! Didn't work. Time for coup!"

My personal favorite theory is the H.A. Goodman theory - HRC will be swapped in. This is a fake ticket to waste opponent resources on attack ads etc, and to make HRC look palatable in comparison.

I don't think they'll swap a very unlikeahle white woman for a black woman. Plus apparently behind the scenes at the DNC Hillary has been rattling her saber too much for some people's liking.
