That's what is so insidious about patronage politics, the staple of the corrupt political machine. In 1973, we passed the point where more Americans received money from the US Government than paid into it. It was predicted at the time that it would be downhill from there. It didn't take long for the government and taxpayer to reach the point of not having the money. The situation you describe is going large scale. Sadly, the left thinks is is a great thing for them.
