What's going on here, you might ask? Besides Trump hoping she survives because she has a ton of info to spill?

Ghislaine's attorneys were preparing a defense in which they would claim that she was unfairly targeted out of malice by the President, who she would have claimed had a grudge against her. By publicly wishing her well, Trump preemptively struck that strategy down.

The last thing we need is this woman getting off on a stupid technicality. Good on GEOTUS for taking the heat and doing the right thing.

I'm just saying, from a legal standpoint, this is exactly what you should say about someone you're planning to have killed

If you are planning to have someone killed, you should do everything you can to act like you don't have any idea who they are.

It still won't help, but having any connection to the person whatsoever will get you caught.

This is why the serial killers who exclusively killed strangers get high body counts.

There is a long list of parents who killed their children that said how wonderful their children were. You can ask them how praising their victims worked for their legal defense.
