I think you have a good idea. Its bold and Trump likes to be bold. But, it will split his base. However, his base isnt going to vote blue so it would do the trick of getting more of the black and young people's votes.
no one will give a shit is he deschedules it / leaves it up to the states. He isn't outright condoning it or embracing it. Just getting rid of federal over reach.
