Link to the mask study or fake news

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/20420727/

You can follow links on that page to a full text study. Conclusion is n95 use after 1 hour puts co2 and o2 out of osha's acceptable range.

Edit: from the link, emphasis added is mine

Conclusions: In healthy healthcare workers, FFR did not impose any important physiological burden during 1 hour of use, at realistic clinical work rates, but the FFR dead-space carbon dioxide and oxygen levels were significantly above and below, respectively, the ambient workplace standards, and elevated P(CO2) is a possibility.

Great info, appreciate it. The title of OP’s post falsely compares increased co2 inhalation levels with increased atmospheric co2 levels.

Where the mask. Does it help worsen your breathing?

You made the claim, back it up. Shouldn’t be too hard, right?

People here generally want to see your sources of information and do not believe all random people who come here making claims.

We need to use this information to show people who are being lied to what the truth is.

Don't take it personally, if what you're saying is factual then you should be encouraged to post your source.

You're not going to get anything out of him. He attacked me and I asked for the same thing.

He is an admitted Jew hater and Holocaust denier, yet he touts a degree from UCLA and admits he used to hate Republicans.

His favorite words are:

  • Faggot
  • Jew
  • Smelly Jew
  • Kike
  • Pussy
  • Clown
  • Shitstain

He also calls out those on this site that have joined later than himself and references a lack of fake internet points as some sort of measuring stick.

He's like a broken record when someone says anything that may contradict his posts or replies.

For someone who claims to be a Republican he gets triggered at anything that does not align perfectly with his views...much like the progressive left is now in our culture.

He's a joke and can't be taken seriously. However, if you want to have some fun and see how much REEEEEE you can get out of him just ask for a logical and factual argument. It's like clockwork.

He is what he hates most...

Back up your claim, don’t make things up.

You need to be able to at least say, "According to a recent John Hopkins study.... such and such." That is enough information for in-person speech and if they want to look it up later they can.

When you're online and you're talking to someone and either they ask or someone else asks where you found that information, either you give up where you got that information, or you have zero credibility. You're basically admitting you made it up.

If you actually engaged in conversations with human beings on a regular basis, you'd know that once people find out you were wrong about it and made up facts; they aren't going to believe you about anything.

You can't just go around making statements of fact and numbers based on things that you made up in your head then calling people faggots when they question you. You're not helping anyone by doing that. You're just making us all look bad.

Youre an idiot. You think like a leftist.

Big_Don_45_2020 3 points ago +4 / -1

He is a Leftist. He has admitted how he used to hate Republicans. He has also admitted his college degree is from UCLA back in the 90s.

He's a west coast progressive LARPing as a Republican...and a holocaust denier because his 1966 encyclopedia britanica doesn't have the word in it...no joke!

You’re comparing inhaled co2 levels with atmospheric co2 levels. Fuck masks, but this is just a dumb comparison.

ikuyas 3 points ago +3 / -0

I saw the video sister CNN youtube channel where a German doctor wears 10 N-95 masks and claims that no oxidation is reduced. That was so dumb. He could claim that with one or two masks, but any 10 layers of thin cloths can block your breathing. They are trying to lie and see how many people will believe the BS.

3
Shreddit 3 points ago +3 / -0

panicked looney-greenie impression Oh noes, wearing masks will increase the amount of CO2 and cause global warming. We need cap & trade controls on masks NOW before the global temperature increases a couple of degrees and makes the planet uninhabitable!

2
Dontthreadonme2020 2 points ago +2 / -0

Come on, man. We need a link.

2
raticy 2 points ago +2 / -0

I can tell. I yawn a whole lot more when wearing the niqab.

2
ScoutsOutGeotus 2 points ago +2 / -0

I don't think masks do shit for Corona, but doctors, nurses, and dentists wear masks all day every day without any issues. It's also been proven every claim your so called study says is false. 300% co2, GTFO.

This is basically the angle I've taken with Karens:

"do you know how retarded you have to be to allow yourself to be convinced that oxygen is bad for you? Go away dumbfuck"

Nope.

Not.

Decades of daily mask use (surgery) here.

2
DsmithGA 2 points ago +2 / -0

But the Operating room has different oxygen levels pumped in. I wear one for work because I have to. But wearing them in the OR was and is different than outside someone’s house.

2
BigIslandFrog 2 points ago +2 / -0

Wrong.

Oxygen is NOT pumped in. Only the patient under anesthesia gets any extra.

The surgical crew breathes room air and wears masks. The O2 concentration in O.R. air is 20.9%. Same as everywhere else, indoors and out.

1
DsmithGA 1 point ago +1 / -0

That’s not what I was ever told while working there. That it’s pressurized differently. Is that not correct? Is that not why the fire procedures are different?

2
BigIslandFrog 2 points ago +2 / -0

HVAC slightly pressurizes the O.R. so that airflow is always out - keeps outside germs from getting in. That is true. But it's just the HVAC blowing in ambient air.

2
DsmithGA 2 points ago +2 / -0

THATS what it was. I knew there was a pressure difference of some sort. Ok thank you. I still wear this mask but man it sucks. Different outside in the heat than in an OR that’s for sure.

With respect - What is even the connection between “inhaled co2 levels” and “atmospheric co2 levels?”

I don’t believe in wearing covid masks, and I don’t believe in man-made climate change, so criticize masks and criticize climate change marxists, but the co2 comparison seems pointless.

I took this post at face value without vetting it, and unfortunately brought this up in a discussion with my brother. He (correctly) pointed out that well-ventillated rooms have a concentration of up to 1,000 ppm of co2, and that the current (recent high) concentrations of atmospheric co2 are barely over 400 ppm.

Even among climate change marxists, the “danger higher rates of inhaled co2” doesn’t seem to be a position being pushed.
