Its very easy for someone in power to find out who lives where and just ignore the problems that area has. This also hurts the poor as lower class areas are never looked at and just left to rot.

Also my city’s actions on rioting and ripping down statues are reprehensible.
This is the way I'd do it, the US government will do a deal with a country in Africa, then offer to pay $1 million in "reparations" to any black native US citizen with a family history of slavery with the condition that anyone taking up the offer gives up their US citizenship, social security and will never be eligible to return to the US under any condition, even for tourism.

Celebrities and corporations alike would make public statements of solidarity with the victim's family.
These parties would show no restraint in blaming the murder on Donald Trump, conservatives and Republicans, whites, men, and gun owners.
Millions of Americans would rush online to genuflect at the altar of their almighty narrative: "America is a racist country where blacks are hunted down senselessly every day because of their skin color". They would show their support by vilifying anyone who hasn't yet accept this holy scripture as their person gospel.
Families and friendships would be ruined. Crimes of retaliation would break out. Riots and looting would be excused as part of the healing process.
Unfortunately, Cannon was white and his murderer is black, so, like thousands of similar stories, this one will be swept under the rug until one comes along that fits the narrative.

Search for "Hinnont" on FoxNews and you'll find an article reporting the story with a headline that reads "North Carolina man accused of shooting 5-year-old-boy in the head: report" followed by a picture of the shooter.
Fox's headline didn't race-bait nor did it try to hide the race of the killer. It even gave the killer the legal presumption of innocence by calling him "accused" despite there being multiple witnesses to the murder.
Fox may be worsening but it's still got infinitely more integrity than the rest of these scum of the earth outlets combined.

This story pisses me off to no end. However, I'm not a monkey, so I understand rioting and looting isn't going to solve anything. The criminal responsible is in custody. My only desire is for swift justice. Quick trial followed by summary execution. No month long trial and high school year book photos flooding the media how it was drugs and a hard life that made him do it... Followed by maybe a decade or two of sitting behind bars and probably release in 15 years.

Your simple explanation is damn near trolling levels of completely wrong. It's been at least 20 years since the MSM began reducing the identification of the race of an individual involved in a crime if that race was black.
Today we have gotten to the point where they won't even report on the crime at all if it's heinous enough.
It's almost as if the MSM knows that this one is unforgivable, especially if it turns out to be an actual white on black hate crime. It's crimes like these that have the potential to start serious conversations that can lead to other, larger conversations that can become tinder for a fire that the authorities can't control.
The last thing they want is to give patriots a unifying reason to be angry.
I disagree that there's nothing we can do to stop this from happening in the future. The answer is incredibly simple.
What happens if you attack a bear cub? You're gonna get mauled by the momma bear right? Self preservation therefore says it's not worth it to mess with the bear cub.
What happens if you attack a white child? Maybe 25-30 years in prison? Maybe life? Where the tax payer takes care of you, houses you, feeds you, provides free medical care, and you get to do nothing and hang out with all your prison buddies.
We need to return consequences to attacking our children so the other joggers will see it and think twice. I'm not talking about the death penalty either, that's too soft. We need to make sure, every one of them understands that killing a white child will result in a fate worse than death.

Their existence should be nothing but agony for weeks until their public execution, and all of it broadcast for the rest of them to see.
