Adult strain chicken pox, NOT shingles, but the pox, is quite nasty. You may be susceptible to shingles (which has readily-available treatments, by the by, if you're specifically at-risk, do take note of them), but if you are, you REALLY don't want chicken pox as an adult.
I had chicken pox back in the days before a vaccine. I was given the then newly developed antiviral drug for herpes called acyclovir (brand name zovirax) It supposedly shortened the length of the illness, but all I remember is that it gave me the shits. It was just something that the doctor could prescribe, that my insurance would pay for, so he did, I guess.
Dr. Fauci's beloved remdesivir is actually the newest edition to the acyclovir family of drugs. It was probably discovered around the same time, but pharma companies strategically hold on to drugs and then release them in succession to always have a "new one" that is still under patent so they can make maximum money.
FDA is corrupt, and Fauci is a scam artist. He knew that HCQ worked against the SARS coronavirus 15 years ago.
So the oldest form of acyclovir may be reasonably priced, and have a generic form that's even cheaper, and it all works more or less as well?
Completely agree about 15 years ago Dr Doom big pharma Fauci knew chloroquine would cure anything like this. More emphatically, in this current outbreak over 3,000 CCPvirus patients were studied on CQ before any of us heard about it in the US, and all did well. HCQ has a 5x lower side effect profile. Any notion that it's "dangerous" is absolute bs. Although you want to screen out for the risk of heart arrhythmia, we only need it for 5 days so there's very little risk to begin with.
It'd be really interesting to see if HCQ knocks out the common cold (coronavirus) and what other viruses, maybe to include chicken pox / shingles.

The only "treatment" I've uncovered is vaccine. What else is there?
