I think people make the mistake of assuming health care professions are unbiased robots who don’t have personal agendas or emotions. I’m sure there are many people in various walks of health care who secretly want this to be bad so they achieve political wins both legislatively and at the polls.
Sure, the point is there are plenty of people in the medical profession who don’t have the best interest of their patients as the priority but instead care about themselves and whatever ulterior motives they may have. After all, humans will be human. We like to hold up some professions with a certain reverence, but no profession makes you a god.
