The President just said if he is re-elected, the first thing he is going to do is eliminate the federal employment payroll tax. The way that can be done is have corporate taxes and a flat 2-3% sales tax and that gives us the choice if we want to pay any federal taxes.that's great cause the money we save from not paying fed. tax would save us 8-15% even paying the 2-3% that's for people making less than 100K this well also stop the blue states from steeling our money for their communist ways for their states. EDIT everyone needs too know the president never said he was going to start a new user tax, that was my assumption to make up the revenue

The issue is this. Once you go down this road, it'll never go away. The D's will get power at some point and will reimpose the fed tax and we'll have both...

The federal income tax was supposed to end after WW2 and that is why we are in these never ending wars, I've had friends that have been in the group fighting against federal income tax for years, they've told me their illegal, Just note I don't have the money to fight the gov. so I pay may taxes

No clue on that. It just proves, once approved, it never goes away.

The money has to come from somewhere. Your idea is a good one if we could pass an amendment eliminating Federal income taxes. Would likely take a lot more to cover the difference though..

I think you’re channeling our man Herman Cain, May God grant him eternal rest once we get rid of the income tax!

Pretty sure this isn't true. The 16th amendment was passed in1909, a full 30 years before the start of ww2

yes that was to fund WW1, but what people don't realize is there wasn't really a WW2. you ask what I mean, well WW1 was stopped with the armistice which ended the war temporally, because of guess what the pandemic back then that everyone is comparing to today, the troops were to sick in the trenches to fight so came the armistice which gave countries time to rebuild, then when it restarted they called it WW2. World War II began 21 years after the end of World War I, but many historians believe that the two wars were part of one vast global conflict.. https://www.google.com/search?q=time+betwean+workd+war+ine+and+world+war+two&oq=time+betwean+workd+war+ine+and+world+war+two&aqs=chrome..69i57.29571j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

And after they reimpose it, they'll have completely exposed themselves to their small base of employed workers who will likely never vote for them again.

They don't care. Neither do their voters..

Their voters don't even care if they're massive racists

Sure they will lol. You think the average american understands finances? The next step is to tie taxes into retail prices to mask them.

Don't you think he'd put that in his EO? "If this cut is repealed, so will the sales tax increase."

Legislators are not bound by precedent of any sort. Outside constitutional restraints.

SPEZ: Not even that, if they go thru the process to change the constitution. Elections Matter.
