I’m not sure if waste is a bigger issue than the fact that most fracked wells see production drop-offs of ~60% after year 1. You have to maintain a pretty aggressive drilling program just to maintain production levels, so it’s more of a volume issue than anything. Conventional drilling will always be king, we just don’t have as many of those basins (where it’s economical) to do such drilling. Now if we could drill ANWAR.....

Nah I'm with you to an extent. I don't think we need to ban it outright but there should be limits, especially in how the wastewater is processed.
