For me, ,it all goes back to the God made us the way we are for a reason. For people who don't believe in God I can see where this is very problematic. In my own experience I've kinda managed to have, it not all, quite a bit. Raised my family, went back to school and now have a career that I love. I very much loved raising children but that is finite. I myself was a latchkey kid before that was even a thing and I hated coming home to an empty house after school. I wanted my children to have better than that.
