Fucking pieces of shit. The Rinald McDonald house let my Wife and I stay there when she had our Daughter 3 months early. It's one of the best, most charitable places I've ever known.

See I always assumed it was just a way for McDonald’s to bring in more revenue. Basically a racket. But seeing all these anecdotes has me re-thinking this assumption.

I hate that my default position is to be skeptical of all non-profits.

No, charity fraud is endemic, but it's not quite as bad as all that. Like the other poster said earlier, highly focused charities such as the RMdH are best if you don't want to get taken for a ride.
