While I'm suspicious that QAnon is a psy-op designed to inspire patriotic populists with a false sense of hope, I'm not sure the pros of banning Q posters outweigh the cons. Either:
A) Q is fake and gay

Robust debate in the comment section over the veracity of QAnon claims prevents the appearance of consensus. Granted, lurkers might get turned off by the perceived association with a schizophrenic movement, but they might just as easily see the topic is controversial and somewhat fringe or even become Q believers as well.
