I mentioned Cumala's slave-owner ancestry to my Democrat mother and her response was literally "I don't think anyone cares about that."

They'd sure as fuck care if she was a Republican. If a conservative candidate had a family history of slave ownership, it would absolutely dominate all MSM discussion about them and instantly rule them out as a viable candidate.
