I'll commend for trying something different all the same. Everyone hates ads but sites have to get money from somewhere so it's not enough to just block ads and call it a day. We need a new model for income that doesn't involve raiding the privacy of users and selling personal info to advertisers.
Switched to Brave after years of using Firefox, about two weeks ago.
Much better, as long as you disable all the reward garbage. However, unpopular opinion: Firefox dev tools are so much better.
