They were wanting to impeach over coronavirus response but that won't work either. When your sent by God to save a nation from destruction these things seem to not work against you

Theyve gone to such great lengths, i never would have imagined they were capable of this level of widespread depravity four years ago. It truly gives one an understanding of how Hitler and the Nazis did it. We need a reckoning on such a large scail.

They want to impeach him for not doing anything but then when he passes an EO for coronavirus relief they complain. Congress are the ones who dropped the ball. They were too busy trying to impeach back in January and February.

2nd wave.

Yoda's voice: "There's another."

Oh and there is no reason to assume the "waves" will ever end. We went insane over a common flu. Why shouldn't we do the same every year from now on?

As it turns out, letting people go back to work (can't believe that's a statement lmao) brings down the unemployment and brings up the income + productivity

22
Hydris 22 points ago +22 / -0

Also no longer providing a $600 bonus for unemployment

12
20KAG20 12 points ago +13 / -1

This is the reason. Why should anyone find work when they are getting ~$1000 a week in unemployment. That’s $25 an hour.

I live in Central PA. Tyrant Tom is doing everything he can to keep as much of the state closed as possible.

7
VetforTrump 7 points ago +7 / -0

I told the few cops I know here they needed to organize and forceably remove our state officials. They promised to pass in 2021 a law removing qualified immunity for police. The job is over at that point. So they know they are running out of time. They hate our governor sisolak and most of them want to put a rope on his neck.

Businesses are disappearing at alarming speeds. A local franchisee closed 5 Jimmy John's sub shops due to lack of lunch business and catering orders. Open last week, gone this week. Customers found out when they called to place orders and nobody answered the phone. We'll probably lose a Stein Mart soon too. Lots of empty storefronts go unfilled because the rents are too high. Amazon is doing well, though...wonder if Wolf has their stock.

6
Webasdias 6 points ago +6 / -0

Destroying people's locally owned businesses will do that.

24
CorrectTheReeeecord 24 points ago +24 / -0

I like how the Democrats like to blame President Trump for the affects of a Pandemic that is happening globally and a majority of the issues are coming from Democrat ran cities.

17
MustafaJones 17 points ago +17 / -0

Gov Cuomo dumps Kungflu patients in nursing homes but somehow it’s Trump’s fault? BLM fails to socially distance and taken proper precautions and it’s Trump’s fault? These people need to be held responsible for their actions.

2
HyperCarbs 2 points ago +2 / -0

Democrats like to blame President Trump

Then they don't offer solutions or provide better options. But they have a magic "plan" and are ready to "get to work" to fix a "failing" economy. Yeah, get fucked Biden.

Shocker what taking an extra $600 a week off the table will do. Don’t get me wrong, it was necessary but we keep assuming the best in people. I took advantage of it and applied for about 50 positions in 2 months. Finally landed a job in June. These mother fuckers just sitting back collecting it with no intention of working make me sick.

7
AllTheWayTrump 7 points ago +8 / -1

Sorry, but an extra $600/week on top of state unemployment was not fucking necessary. What about all the people that continued to work. Do you think the grocery store clerks and stockers got an extra $600/week to continue to work? No, they didn't get the equivalent of $50k/year to sit on their ass. They continued to work for work for the equivalent of maybe $25k/year. Even an extra $400/week is a joke. Some of those same workers are lucky to bring that home per week busting their ass. It's fucking disgusting imo. Maybe if more people weren't being bribed not to be pissed off, we'd have many more people rightfully pissed at this bullshit shutdown or other COVID-19 oppressions, but when they are banking $50k while getting to sleep in, shop online, do whatever (as long as they obey their masters mandates) then they won't be nearly as pissed as they would be only getting their state unemployment and maybe some food stamps or something instead of free cash.

4
xBigCoffinHunter 4 points ago +4 / -0

The people that continued to work had a job. What about them?

1
FormerGraveheart 1 point ago +2 / -1

They were getting ripped off, that's what about them.

1
xBigCoffinHunter 1 point ago +1 / -0

I’d argue that getting ripped off is losing a job of 15 years over a clearly organized fear campaign in reaction to a virus. That is being ripped off.

2
VetforTrump 2 points ago +2 / -0

That is why I like the idea of extra money for those who work by removing taxes.

2
xBigCoffinHunter 2 points ago +2 / -0

Bartender behind blue lines. While I have a job the new restrictions have killed any money I make off of it. I’m working just to keep the doors open, because I love my community, and my boss made sure we were taken care of during this time. I’ve taken at least a 75% pay cut.

1
letrain 1 point ago +1 / -0

I know here the unemployment office started a "shared work" program. Where employment security will cover up to 50% of lost wages. So your employer can cut your hours down to 50% and you'll get 25% of your lost wages. Your employer has to apply for and get signed up for the program. It doesn't sound bad because then it means your employer doesn't have to pay you off, but it incentivses employers to cut your hours. And with the $600 a week we were getting it really did. People could keep their jobs and make more money staying home a day or two.

1
westrock2000 1 point ago +2 / -1

Is it because unemployment isn’t profitable anymore?

1
letrain 1 point ago +1 / -0

So the unemployment rate should look far far better on the next month.

Trump is showing that economy can actually be robust with just some common sense policies. People who suppress it have to go out of their way to suppress it. Think about why they would work harder to screw people over.

I’m no longer on the unemployment rolls. Started a new job this week. The economy is starting up again, whether the globalists like it or not.

0
HumasTaint 0 points ago +1 / -1

This is just for new cases. AOC even understands this. Plenty more than that are unemployed right now. Have any of you checked to see how many are unemployed now? Just looks to me I think some people completely misunderstand.

-7
HumasTaint -7 points ago +1 / -8

Because the people that needed to file for it already have. Seriously?

1
VetforTrump 1 point ago +1 / -0

That's not how it works.

1
HumasTaint 1 point ago +1 / -0

Please explain how it works. If under a million applied then we would be at around 1% unemployed, which we are not. This is only counting new applications. Please give me factual numbers and info then.
