Chicago has been a shithole for years now and I don't think the people that have managed to get out are ever going back.
Just worry for the people that can't get out for whatever reason. As at the end of the day, it's an American city with Americans udder socialist rule and I don't think enough is being done to help them.

Chicago is broken up into 4 main sides: Downtown, Northside, West Side, and Southside.
For the most part the most attractive parts of the city are downtown and the Northside. They hold the major corporations, the nice restaurants, nice shopping (Magnificent Mile), etc. That is where the tourist go, the major tradeshows are held, etc. However, now with the combo of Covid, BLM, and especially poor Dem decision making, the crown jewel areas of Chicago are being destroyed. There are no more trade shows, no museums open, no tourism because no one wants to go into this crime infested areas in the nice parts of town anymore. This is all due to Dem policies. This once great city, that had nice parts have been infected. This is the downfall of Chicago.
