We had 80,000 Vaccinated Americans die in the 2017-2018 flu Pandemic. Most do not know it happened. The vaccine was 50% effective. That means 160,000 would die if we get hit with a virus that we are not vaccinated for? Sounds about right.

Does that mean our incompetent face mask lock down small business but keep walmart and protests open did not work? Look at the table from CDC and it think it speaks for itself. This thing may have died out at this point.

Remember that a cohort can not die twice. You can only cull the old so many times in a row.

The only mistake the Swedes admit to making is the fact they took too long to lock down the people above 70 years old that make up 90% of the deaths.

Help me understand with what we know why it makes sense for schools to be closed when no one under 18 died of Covid and almost none in the US?

Look how bad the flu was this year, look at all deaths starting in January in the drop down in table one of the CDC

Yeah I agree, the difference between completely shutting everything down and going about near business as usual is truly negligible. I think my numbers show just that.
