What blows my mind is how none of them saw this coming. Kind of off topic but I remember talking to a leftist years ago about the dangers of the Euro and how it will mean an end to national sovereignty. He was like, "OH MY GOD IT'S JUST MONEY". They live in a world where all that exists are completely independent events without causation.

I worked with a leftist wacko who was also a software developer. Nice guy, he just drank the leftist kool-aid. In casual conversation he says, "There is no such thing as absolute truth"

Me: Are you sure there's no such thing as absolute truth?

Leftist: Yes.

Me: Are you absolutely sure there's no such thing as absolute truth?

Leftist: Well, you're missing the point. We can't know if there is or not.

Me: Oh I see. Are you sure we can't know if there is absolute truth or not?

Leftist: Look, all I'm saying is that there is no absolute truth. Is this difficult to understand?

Me: Let me ask you a question. When your code doesn't work, do you say to yourself, "Oh, my code isn't working as expected. Well, the laws of logic are mutable and variant and therefore this outcome is perfectly aligned with my philosophical views." Or do you say, "There must be a bug in my code."

Leftist: WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU CARE ABOUT MY BELIEFS?!?! IS THIS SOMETHING YOU AND YOUR SCIENTOLOGIST BUDDIES SIT AROUND AND DISCUSS?
