Yeah. If that is part of the Federal hiway system then only the Feds can issue the proper permits to shut it down and arrange detours. If they block the road without a permit it is terrorism and each one should be arrested, charged with terrorism and RICO violations and attach gang enhancements... and on and on.

If they DO manage to acquire the proper permits then road closures must be announced, detours arranged, signage posted, bonds issued to cover damages, and all of that comes with huge fees. Usually only maintenances can close roads except for emergencies or priority travel, such as a military convoy or POTUS motorcade.
This will not be a permitted event, I betcha, and so will not be legal, it will NOT be 'peaceful protest' because peaceful protest may not interfere in Societal doings.
It is criminal, terrorism and must be eradicated with immediate overwhelming force. The LE agencies and media who term it as 'peaceful protest' are wrong, they are supporting Evil, supporting terror when they refuse to honor Law by preserving the peace, the safety of roads and the community.
This is madness, I pray I never have to encounter such terrorism on the roads, I will NOT be a helpless victim ever again. Terrorists in the roadways are mortal threats to any of us who encounter them, be careful, People.
