I've lost all respect for someone close to me, under very similar circumstances. It's really sad to see. I hate to play the left's game of cutting off social connections based on politics, but I really cannot stand the nonsense this person sucks in and vomits out every day, every night. I think I'm doing them a favor by avoiding them because I know I would get worked up if I tried to confront their beliefs again.
