Yep. Social media is absolute kryptonite to otherwise legit legal cases. You're operating by rules and decorums in court that don't give a fuck about your intentions or ignorance. Minimize the surface area your legal opposition can attack you from forever and always.

If he had footage this would be easier. You will get a civil lawsuit settlement from company and maybe employee as long as police report has witness statements. Let the lawyer handle it and consider investing in a bodycam for the future like our burrito chad. You can also make a social media campaign to identify and fire the worker by putting pressure on the store if you choose to go that route, sort of like a reverse Kroger Andy
