The head employment security department in WA won't be fired because she is a major Democrat fundraiser. The security that was disabled had to be someone very ranking in the department. Other states are experiencing high levels of employment fraud: Ohio, Maryland, Michigan, NY... Were these all intentional as well?

If you want more of something, subsidize it. For every legitimate claim for unemployment or disability, I would say there are several more just gaming the system. But don't hate the player, hate the game.
