It builds herd immunity. We want to protect EVEN MORE our elderly community--the only ones truly at risk. That way, our herd immunity in the young might cause the virus to DIE OUT SAVING LIVES of the elderly. What we're doing, social distancing, is just postponing those elderly deaths.
