The consensus talking point seems to be that UAE and Israel both prefer Trump so they teamed up to formalize an understanding they already had informally to give trump a foreign policy victory. Seems bullshit because

A) Palestinians are pissed and recalled ambassador from UAE, why would they play along if it was an empty gesture

B) Both parties willingness to commit to a formal deal for Trump seems like a big deal even if it is for his benefit, it doesn't mean it isn't an accomplishment
