Every generation is obviously composed from a diverse set of values which overlaps to various degrees and to the extent that they overlap the effect of certain values would be amplified. Older parts of the group tend to also look different from the younger parts.
More of the older boomers held fast to their believes than the younger ones in my experience and don't love to hate them, though some of them caused a lot of problems for the younger generations when they gained power.
