No, this is great. I'm just thinking out-loud about strategy:
The Democrats go left during the primary (to try and get Progressive support and funds), but then during the general they try to distance themselves from the Progressives and go more centrist (to get swing state support). The assumption is that Progressives will vote Democrat no matter what so they don't need attention anymore. Some Bernie Bros do get fed up and totally change to supporting Trump, but the bigger issue now may be the low info types, and blue collar rust belt and other swing state voters. After seeing all the riots they want someone who will be tough on crime.
This is great for Progressives, but more centrist Democrats also should not be voting for Biden. They may actually like this about Biden.
