Problem is it takes awhile for it to catch up, all the diversity hires can hide behind the pareto principle where 20% do 80% of the work. You just load up the few competent people you hired with all the work and you make the incompetent diversity hires managers and voila! you just delayed the inevitable.

True but look at Boeing. It seems we’re already at the tipping point where it is doing real damage. People are literally dying from faulty planes.
