It's going to get way worse before it ever gets better, it's going to take a great depression in my opinion. Maybe that will finally make people snap out of this delusion, these warped values of caring more about social justice points, 'looking good' and 'diversity' even in spite of running a productive profitable and successful company.
That is what made America great in the first place, but then we started removing pieces of the base that all the success was built on top of
"Hey, it's incredible that we've built this beautiful house, but if what start fucking with the foundations just for fun, lets remove this thing and replace it with this other thing"
Problem is it takes awhile for it to catch up, all the diversity hires can hide behind the pareto principle where 20% do 80% of the work. You just load up the few competent people you hired with all the work and you make the incompetent diversity hires managers and voila! you just delayed the inevitable.
