Oh he tried, but NY has been sick for a long time. They were proposing Avant Garde monstrosities and the victims' families were being pressured to demand empty space -- as if terrorists should be given the right to erase cities off the map. The towers today (not the first design proposed) are OK but -- in my opinion -- unfairly inferior.
IF Trump had been permitted to rebuild them the US would be in better mental health right now.
