I think at this point we can safely say it was correlation and not causation. Crime went down because of a concerted effort to stop crime and lock up offenders. Crime is going back up now because we’ve stopped trying to stop crime and are now allowing clearly guilty offenders go without charge
Increasing access to abortion services. I guess if you just stop bringing people into the world then crime will inherently decrease...
