I pray that you find Christ. I was an atheist from childhood till 5 months ago. I was raised without any religion. I have mocked religion my entire teenage years.
But in March, I believed.
I don't merely believe. I know.
He is the truth and the way and the life.
He is alive.
I'll say, I'm reading the Bible for the first time in my adult life and it's way more powerful than I ever realized. "Love your neighbor" which the pede above brought up. I haven't read that one this time around yet but certainly that didn't include antichrists (non believers that John talks about) did it? CCP is pure evil.
People say it all the time so that it seems trite: Love the sinner, hate the sin. I think it’s not mushy love but wanting the welfare of everyone and being ready to help them, if it would be for everyone’s good to do so. It also means to want to see all people come to know and believe in the Lord’s love for them and to know He is the Creator of all things Who died for them, personally. Wanting this highest good for all people is probably the best way to love each other. If you want them to see God’s love, you will live the Golden Rule. You will also want justice and protection from evil through a good, strong justice system. And so on....
I have been an atheist probably longer than you have been alive. I never waivered so please don't come proselytizing to us now. Take care of your business Christians... Get off your knees and fight like men
And so many Christians rape children. I am no coward. I stood up against a wave of laughable Christian hypocrisy alone when others were scared to say a word. And unlike most Christians, I have held true to this ideology to this day. I was not born again into anything.
