LOL. I'm a lifelong Jewish conservative New Yorker. "Liberal" values aren't so horrible - there are no actual liberals left in New York, only leftists. The liberals all died out.
Except for maybe Alan Dershowitz.
My ancestors lived in Florida before the Civil War by the way. My great-grandmother had the kind of thick Southern accent which doesn't even exist any more and you probably couldn't even understand her. (:-)

Yes Florida was largely built up by New Yorkers, i appreciate that history. Unfortunately times have changed.
You kind of got that backwards. They got off the boat from Germany and went to Florida and Alabama.
Gulf coast. Mobile, Pensacola.
They came from all directions. Mine got off the boat at Isle of Wight and moved from state to state including south and west.
