Please don't ruin my home state with the liberal values that destroyed your home. Thanks!

Do bring your cuisine, leave the hardened urban attitude though. I love NY Deli style food, and your pizza is fantastic.

That said, the next entitled retiree that tries to lecture me about something is going to get told that we ought to have a hunting season for SnowBirds. I've kinda had it with the retirees with bad attitudes.

FL, TX, or if you don't mind some cold weather the mid-west has some great opportunities.

I will probably move back to TX when this gig wraps up. I like Florida a lot, but Texas is just an amazing state with a unique culture I love.

I grew up in a small town in Texas. I expected the worst as I started working in different areas of the country. I found the urban/country split to be much more indicative of culture than geographic diversity. The burbs tended to identify differently, but rural people are gold every where I went and city folk were hard core and arrogant. Usually without reason.

There was a slight difference in how long it takes to fit in. In the South, you're a friend until you prove otherwise. In the north, you have to prove yourself first.

This mirrors my experiences. I moved to a relatively rural area of Texas and was floored at how welcoming everyone was. Was getting invites to go hunting and come over for Barbeques non-stop.

I had two of the most expensive pizzas in NYC in the Times square area and both taste like burned cardboard. Both places were supposed to be top notch. No thanks. I'll take Chicago Style PIZZA every day of the week. But leave the attitude.

Buffalo style pizza is best! Thick crist, but not too thick, great sauce, cheese and pepperoni! Halfway and best of both worlds!
