Cooper tires are one of only two companies left that make tires in America. I have been using them almost exclusively since the 90’s and they have never let me down.
Lots of times you have to have them ordered and delivered to a tire shop, but it’s worth it. The cost is also competitive. Try cooper tires if you haven’t already.
I know Toyo makes their tires in USA although jts a Japanese Co. Cooper started making their tires in China as well. I know this because I bought the toyo open country over the Discoverer AT over this simple matter.
No doubt the cooper is a nice tire, I have the AT2 and I hear the AT3 is out for toyo. Rock solid for me so far, but then again I’m not looking to squeeze every last ounce of performance out of them.
You’re correct that I could have been clearer, but doing so bolsters my point. Here’s a fairly recent update on the situation.
“If you are looking to buy tires made in USA, you should know that most foreign global tire manufacturers already have plants in America. In fact, there are only two genuine American brands: Goodyear and Cooper. The largest foreign tire companies with plants in the US include Michelin, Pirelli, Continental, Bridgestone, and Yokohama. However, to make sure you buy USA tires, you should make sure they were made in the USA-based plants.
That being said and taking your points into account, I’ll stick with my Coopers.
I've used Cooper tires almost exclusively on my personal trucks and company trucks, for my money they are the best tire choice. Good ride, long lasting, quiet, been using them since the 70s.
Better than Nittos, better than Michelins, same trucks hauling same loads the Coopers just last longer, wear better, ride better.
I buy Coopers as well, if buying be sure to check the location the tire was made. Sadly Cooper is not 100% made in USA. There is indeed some China production.
Been running Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLTs on my truck and love 'em. Good grip offroad and on, good road life and look tough. Will definitely get another set when these wear down.
Beware of companies using this movement for advertising. I bought dozens of their tires before one ripped the side of my bed off. Copper recall was a big deal, and they were not American made.

Well, now I am gonna try them!
Use their site directly. Nearly every time I’ve ordered it has come with a $70 - $100 rebate.
Cooper is the only tire brand I’ve ever purchased for 20 years. Great quality tires!

Thanks, my Jeep does indeed need a new set of shoes soon...

And they are cheaper than many other tires too.

We need to get those pedes over here
Damn. I had to choose between cooper and Goodyear. Went with Goodyear. Hope they follow coopers lead on this one.
Buy American.
The only good Union is a PEDE Union! Way to go!
I am buying four new tires next week. Looks like I'm getting Coopers.
Keep America Rolling!
Who made them take it down? City? management?
Dems, once powered by unions, is down to what, one? maybe two? Teachers and nurses?
Public employees and the SEIU.

Best tires gong around. Here is Australia they give up to 80k km guarantee as well.

Had to get new tired this year so I went with the Coopers over the many no named Chinese brands I saw offered. So far so good!
All kinds of tires are manufactured in the US. See link and check out locations: https://www.ustires.org
Beautiful!

Patently false.
Do tell. Why do they suck?
