The recent hate crime execution got me wondering what happened to all that a few weeks ago so I started looking. I cant believe his only charge is abduction. Calls to the prosecutor may be warranted. All the info is public so it just takes a little digging. Don't want to link anything close to doxxing.

No, another black "person" (person with a cervix, I think) was holding their arms.

It's all good! That's just what I remember seeing.

That's a big charge considering he was already on parole/probation. Not sure they could prove assault- no physical damage to the boy- and the defendant could always claim the photo was staged. Not saying this is great but it should get the job done all things considered and this dude is def going back to jail for a good stretch if convicted on this charge as a parolee.

I hope you're right. I can see things getting muddied real quick though when the mom left him in care of the child and he didn't take him without consent. If that's the only charge a jury has to deliberate on, I can see him walking. Child abuse at a minimum.

I think you can make an evidence based claim that points to this being unlawful exploitation of a child and/or similar charge but probably not assault or child endangerment without witness testimony. I would be interested in who the other participants are in that photo (especially the one holding the legs, which theoretically should be unnecessary if the child is "in" on the "gag").

My point is basically if the guy is on probation then all you need is one decent charge of any kind that will stick and he goes back to the pen.
