👋 hey, Conservative from the region here. We really can't do anything about it. Politically, we hold no power. New York state is cucked by the city, which is the deepest blue area in the country. Mayor Clown DeBlowsio expressly hates America, and yet people voted him in twice.
Protest? We'd be called white nationalists, neo nazis, and terrorists just for marching in the streets with an American flag. And even if we managed to organize protests and go through with them, they'd fall on deaf ears. DeBlasio doesn't give a shit. Neither no the leftists that live in New York City. They're more fixated on "dEsTrOyInG bLoSnAlD gRauMpH" with paint outside Trump Tower.
Fix the city and unite New Yorkers? Nah. It took two terms of DeBlasio to destroy Giuliani and Bloomberg's work, where most of the destruction took place in the recent months due to Covid and the Floyd Riots.
You forgot to mention, for those rolling into the state to do any conservative or libertarian protests, they'd be arrested for breaching quarantine almost immediately, and made to disappear in the NY prison system, probably into forced labor making hand sanitizer for Cuomo to further enrich himself.
Not a conservative, but if I catch wind of any protest or memorial, I'll try to be there. With flashlights, if possible.
