There's a lot of ugly truth here, but I still believe this is leaning more towards fear-porn than absolute reality.
For example, "instilled fear in a majority of the population in America that allows them to control every aspect of your life". A vast amount of people are brainwashed by the news, this I absolutely agree with. It is very terrifying. However, the 'majority'? Does all this ring true for the states barely affected, without all the overwhelming restrictions and guidelines?
I think in many cases, right now, people are too busy working to "fight". Most people aren't shivering and scared of their neighbors, rather the obnoxiously loud are enjoying the tattle-taling while another big number "follow" the rules of not gathering.
Being brainwashed by daily narratives, not questioning the validity of the science, giving up common sense, these things definitely concern me. Too many people are simply ignorant of the current situation. I bet this Canadian who posted it will then point out that this has all happened under Trump, and even if he wins the election, things will continue getting worse.
There's no sense in wallowing in despair. If this guy's post is meant to rally people to vote and at least go out fighting, then it's all good. It feels just like simple demoralization tactics though. At least take a note from this to question everything.
You know what typically happens to snitches and tattletales in schools. They often get the living tar beaten out of them. People are acting that the war is already over. No the war is just beginning and when we start to realize that we can still win this and send our foes a crushing defeat. So yes our enemies are laughing it up while we bide our time....they will slip and that's all it takes.
The Left thinks its won, they think the great and power Oz of their society has beaten us. No...the curtain is about to fall and expose them for what they are. The media cannot hide his contradictory statements at all and its pretty much been a torrent on social media to the point that they have to block out that info.
