I've been on his side for a while. I understand the rule of law and support it for the most part but ultimately, he helped the people being spied on by the government that was supposed to serve "the people."

Snowden was a CIA operative. There has been an ongoing “war” between US intel agencies, namely the CIA and NSA. Snowden was a CIA contractor, didn’t leak anything those dirty dogs were up to, did he. He only leaked about the NSA.
