I helped a black couple this week whose battery was dead. The guy wasn’t able to get her car jumped with his, so I offered to help. Fired up like a charm.
Didn’t save anyone’s life, but I did it wearing my hat that reads:
You will never forget the life you've saved. You may forget his name and he yours but neither of you will forget the circumstance. The Lord indeed put you there to save one of his own and you and the rest of your impromptu team pulled together and made it happen.
