Had he never done this, the investigation likely never happens.

Not true, but it helped.

That is the way to word it while his balls are in a vice so he squeals on the higher ups....

"Well if you did all this alone that means this entire Russia gate was your fault...."

Good way to make em talk.

Oh, and then he bragged about bringing about the "fall of the republic" to his friends in text messages.

I have a feeling this will be all we get. He's the sacrificial lamb while the people who mastermind it get off. I'll end this with I hope I'm wrong, but I can't tell you how many times I've typed that between here and TD. I'm never wrong. ..

grassshrimp 2 points ago +3 / -1

There are many here who always go on about how nobody will be held accountable for Obamagate.

Now we get the first guy and those same people are pretending that nothing has happened and that this is a nothing burger and are shitting over everyone who is happy that we got the first guy and optimistic we have more to go.

QuantumReality 1 point ago +2 / -1

They've got one FBI lawyer whose name was on a forged document. And they plead him down to one charge. I'll bet you were one of the its happening faggots from TD. You know what the left does if they gave any information that so eobe who worked with Trump committed a crime? They throw the book at them. With the flimsiest evidence or no evidence. They lock them up and throw every charge that's remotely applicable at them. Flynn would be in prison right now if the Attorney General hadn't stepped in and he did nothing wrong. These people tried to overthrow the democratically elected president and the guy who lied on multiple fisa applications gets plead down to a single charge and he's not even in fucking jail. The FBI raided stones house at 4 am and he did nothing.

It's usually leftists who resort to insults, it's getting really hard to distinguish true supporters from leftist invaders whose intention is to divide us and argue amongst ourselves.

For what it's worth, the day Sessions recused himself is the day I knew he wasn't on our team..

I love Donald Trump more than words can express. I hope that everyone involved in his coup will hang from a rope on the south lawn. I'd bring my wife and kids and it would be the best day of our lives. I just don't think it will happen.

You don't think a few months' probation is enough for the attempted overthrow of our system of government?

He said he was sorry and didn't mean it. That's enough for him to avoid a SWAT raid and life in prison

Why would it be, just one disillusioned lawyer made an error ? 😂😂

Obama could please guilty to treason and there wouldn't be a peep from the MSM.

3
MAGANYficent 3 points ago +3 / -0

There better be more people on the indictment list.

If it only take a low level lawyer douchebag like Clinesmith to spy on and try to frame a President, the FBI needs a complete overhaul.

They'll all be low-level. This guy pleading guilty is terrible news. He'll take the fall, get some slap on the wrist, and then maybe even get pardoned if Biden wins. His reward for not ratting out the top officials who sanctioned this illegal spying.

But good news that even the small fries aren’t getting immunity deals.

1
EtTuRINO 1 point ago +1 / -0

No. Immunity deals are given out to small fries to catch the big fish.

If they have a small fry pleading guilty then it may be so he faces a bit of time but then gets his loyalty reward afterwards.

This guy pleading guilty is crap. I wouldn't accept a plea deal for insane political corruption like this. You use the promise of a very length trial and sentence to get them to talk in exchange for a plea deal. They either didn't try this or the guy wouldn't budge.

Also I imagine your comment was about how EVERYONE got an immunity deal with Hillary's servers, and therein lies the obvious scam that was Comey's FBI. You don't offer immunity unless the person has given up valuable info for you to get someone much higher in the crime. Yet he gave it to fucking everyone.... what a corrupt POS.

upvote 2 points ago +2 / -0

It has been said that he was offered a plea deal and is cooperating with the investigation. My point is that he is being used to catch bigger fish, and they didn't need to offer immunity. They offered a lesser punishment and to me this is a good thing. Your statement that "You use the promise of a very length trial and sentence to get them to talk in exchange for a plea deal" is most likely what happened with Clinesmith. They had him on a higher charge of altering a federal document, 18 USC 1519, which carries a punishment of up to 20 years. He is cooperating and was offered a plea deal of 18 USC 1001, which carries a punishment of up to 5 years.

1
EtTuRINO 1 point ago +1 / -0

Thank you for this clarification and I hope your assessment is more accurate to the truth.

If the only one to go down for illegally spying on an American citizen and a political opponent is 1 small fish, even with Trump in charge, then that all but guarantees future administrations, both Dems and RINOs, that they can get away with anything.

It's already frustrating enough that Clapper and Brenner go around as if they did nothing wrong and the media gives them a total and complete pass.

2
RichardNixon 2 points ago +2 / -0

Problem is that it wasn't just Dems that wanted to hamstring GEOTUS, it was R's too. Everyone panicked when he was elected and wanted to stop an outsider from ending the status-quo. Justice will not be served because many of the people Trump thought were on his team, supported the witch hunt. All you need to do is look at how the Senate supported the Mueller investigation's prosecution of low level folks connected to Trump and how they've been inactive to the uncovering of the coup. McConnell and Graham were in on it, guaranteed.

Barr is damage control, look for low level prosecutions, but nothing big. He was approved to stop the pitchforks.

The fact that the Senate didn't go bananas when the President's National Security Advisor and his PERSONAL lawyer became targets, says it all. That has never happened in history and will never happen again.

We have enemy's pretending to be friends.

Did he work directly for Stzok? Because this would be a huge development concerning his statements about "les resistance" and "insurance policy". It's no longer a misstated out of context slip of the tongue, but a premeditated plot with evidence to back up the actions. Whether he denounces it or not doesn't even matter given this development, he was officially part of it now. Just want to remind everyone that Strzok has never testified under oath, he voluntarily showed up to congress with the condition he was not placed under oath. He is the most important key to ObamaGate, probably more important than Obama himself.
